For example, we were tasked with creating a new loyalty program for a global luxury hotel group. The client wanted to stay competitive in the luxury hospitality space and retain its high-net-worth guests by launching a unique and well-crafted loyalty program. To gain insights into guests’ definitions of loyalty, recognition, and care, we conducted 1-to-1
qualitative online interviews.
Additionally, we studied competitors’ loyalty programs to identify unmet needs and explored guests’ aspirations and recognition needs beyond transactional benefits. With all these inputs, we designed a loyalty program that met the client’s requirements and helped them retain their valuable guests.
